The Special Cape is the unrevealed acquisition route in the Dungeons II cape lineup. Mojang has shown its design, but has not published instructions for obtaining it.

How do you unlock the Special Cape?

As of September 25, 2026, the official announcement does not give an unlock method. There is no confirmed task, code campaign or purchase requirement to follow yet. A picture of the cape is not evidence that a particular listing can deliver it.

What is confirmed?

The Special Cape appears in Mojang's Dungeons II cape announcement with a gold-and-blue design. It is separate from the Soul Cape's Deluxe reward and the Corrupted Creeper promotional code. Those other acquisition routes should not be copied onto this cape.

What is still unknown?

The distribution method, eligibility rules and timing remain unannounced. An owner count or rarity tier would also be premature without actual distribution information. This page keeps those unknowns explicit rather than presenting a guessed method as a guide.

Does it work in Java or Bedrock?

No Java or Bedrock unlock has been confirmed for the Special Cape. The announced crossover pair is Hero and Twisted. Do not assume every cosmetic shown for Dungeons II transfers to the main Minecraft editions.

Can I claim a Special Cape code here?

No. The MC Capers giveaway is specifically for the Corrupted Creeper Cape. Its codes cannot unlock the Special Cape. Check the official announcement for any future Special Cape distribution details.
