Yes. Every cape here is an official Mojang cape, and what we sell are genuine redemption codes issued by Mojang during the original promotions - earned then, never redeemed, resold now. You redeem at minecraft.net/redeem and the cape permanently links to your Minecraft account. (MC Capers is an independent seller, not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft - after a promotion ends, the resale market is the only way to get its cape.)

Across rarity tiers, big price gaps are normal — widely-distributed movie capes cost a few dollars while attendance-locked capes trade far higher, because earning one required being at the original event. Within the same cape, our own sales records and the listings we monitor give a rough going rate; a listing far below it is not proof of anything wrong, but the failure modes reported with cheap codes are already-redeemed codes and publisher revocation after an upstream fraudulent purchase.
