In most cases, the cape appears within ~10 minutes. In rare cases it may take up to ~2 hours due to Minecraft server sync delays. If it still doesn't appear after 2 hours, contact our support.
How fast is delivery?
In-stock capes are delivered within 5 minutes of successful payment. You'll receive your cape code via email and on the order page instantly.
Are these capes legitimate?
Yes. Every cape here is an official Mojang cape, and what we sell are genuine redemption codes issued by Mojang during the original promotions - earned then, never redeemed, resold now. You redeem at minecraft.net/redeem and the cape permanently links to your Minecraft account. (MC Capers is an independent seller, not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft - after a promotion ends, the resale market is the only way to get its cape.)
Is MC Capers a marketplace or a direct seller?
MC Capers is an independent seller (not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft) and sells from its own stock — codes are sourced from the original promotions and held in our inventory; no third-party sellers list on this site. What we cover when a code fails or is later revoked is written in the refund policy. You can also check the operation independently before paying: our Discord server is open to anyone and contains customers' own delivery confirmations going back months, and card payments run through a regulated payment processor, so the card network's dispute process applies independently of us.
Why are some capes much cheaper on other sites?
Across rarity tiers, big price gaps are normal — widely-distributed movie capes cost a few dollars while attendance-locked capes trade far higher, because earning one required being at the original event. Within the same cape, our own sales records and the listings we monitor give a rough going rate; a listing far below it is not proof of anything wrong, but the failure modes reported with cheap codes are already-redeemed codes and publisher revocation after an upstream fraudulent purchase. Whichever seller you choose, the practical checks are the same: a written policy covering failed and revoked codes, reviews the seller cannot edit, and reachable support. More in the buying guide.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover via Stripe, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Amazon Pay, and Klarna. PayPal coming soon.
Can I get a refund?
Yes—if the code doesn't work or doesn't deliver, we offer 100% refunds. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Do I need a Java or Bedrock account?
Most capes work on both Java and Bedrock editions when linked through your Microsoft account. Check individual product pages for specific platform notes.
