The Twisted Cape is the Minecraft Dungeons II pre-order cape. It is one of the two Dungeons II capes confirmed to unlock in Minecraft Java and Bedrock.
How do you get the Twisted Cape?
Pre-order an eligible edition of Minecraft Dungeons II before its September 29, 2026 launch. Check the pre-order bonus on your platform's store listing before you pay. Do not assume an ordinary purchase after launch includes the same offer.
Do Standard and Deluxe both qualify?
Both editions list the Twisted pre-order reward. Deluxe adds other Dungeons II content, including the Soul Cape, but does not make the Twisted Cape a different item. The US launch listings in our overview were $29.99 for Standard and $49.99 for Deluxe; prices vary by region.
How to unlock it in Java or Bedrock
- After launch, sign in to Dungeons II on the Microsoft account associated with your eligible pre-order.
- Confirm your pre-order items and that the Twisted Cape is available in Dungeons II.
- Sign in to Java and/or Bedrock with the same Microsoft account.
If you bought a physical copy or received a product code, follow that edition's redemption instructions first.
What is different from the Soul Cape?
Twisted is the pre-order reward with confirmed Minecraft crossover support. Soul is the Deluxe Edition cosmetic and has not been announced for Java or Bedrock. Spending more on Deluxe does not turn Soul into an additional confirmed Minecraft cape.
Does a free Corrupted Creeper code unlock Twisted?
No. Our free giveaway is for a separate cape inside Dungeons II. It does not replace a qualifying pre-order, grant game ownership, or unlock the Twisted reward.
